Educational, Healing and Social Events Organized By Counselling Professionals for Wellness Professionals
Next Step Counselling & Another Chapter Counselling are mental health practices located in the Landmark District in Central Kelowna, BC.
As the founder of Next Step, Kate began organizing meetups for counselling professionals called "Therapist Socials" in 2022. Paige, the founder of Another Chapter, started participating in the events and connecting with Kate on a regular basis. In 2024, Kate and Paige discussed merging their passion to support wellness professions!
They both share the sentiment of "Collaboration Over Competition" and believe in the healing power of a connected community that acknowledges the humanness of each mental health provider.
Together they attempt to create accessible resources for counselling professions, including:
1. Educational Opportunities
- Free or Discounted for Subcontractors at Next Step or Another Chapter Counselling
- In-Person Availability: First Come First Serve for In-Person Events
- Affordable Fee for Those Outside of Next Step and Another Chapter Counselling
2. Therapist Socials
- Showcasing New and Growing Practice Opportunities to Showcase Their Practice
- If no practice is available to showcase, reservation for dinner and socialization at a Restaurant in Kelowna
3. Healing Opportunities
- We choose healers and caregivers who share special gifts to help with experiential knowledge of alternative mental health supports.
- May Include: Breathwork, Energy Healing, Somatic Movement, Sound Healing & More
