Learning the Reasons For The Name: Another Chapter
Before getting into my articles, learning the reasons for the name Another Chapter is worth finding out.
I had been playing around with a few different ideas that I thought would fit both a blogging platform and counselling practice.
How does one decide, though?
It isn’t easy determining a few simple words that represent your values, beliefs and vision.
Luckily the stars aligned and was able to create the name Another Chapter Blogging.
If you want to know the reasons, keep reading.

Firstly, you are the author of your own life.
This mentality is why Another Chapter’s tagline is “How do you want your storyline to look?”
Even though limitations exist, we each have more control over our lives than we give ourselves credit for. Write a plotline that works for you!
To be honest, I am not a fan of encouraging people to forget their past. The phrase “get over it” always makes me cringe.
Using the word ‘another’ means that we are not disregarding your previous chapters.
It does mean that you can choose which lessons, people and experiences deserve further highlighting.
Don’t forget, there are good memories from our pasts that are worth remembering.

Now that I’ve already discussed your author status, I will mention my editor one.
Few authors publish their work without an editor.
There are times when we aren’t sure what options are available or maybe we’ve gotten caught up in a twist and unsure how to address the next pages.
From my perspective, mental health care professionals can help provide some guidelines and ideas for the story you are in the middle of writing.
Our lives all have a beginning and eventual end, just like all good stories.
Real life circumstances can cause writers block where people draw a blank for problem solving.
It is possible to change a story of tragedy into a happy ending.
Not only are you the author, you are also the main character.
As with many good books, life also has multiple plot twists. How do we make it through these?
Also… I am writing a blog, so why not use a reference to written material?
My Name is Paige
It is okay to laugh at this one, and all of the above if you’d like. I wanted to use a business name that also tied in with my given name.
One option was “Turn a Page Blogging,” but I thought that was too obvious. Another thought was “Next Chapter,” but it turns out many health and wellness businesses have saturated that option.
Another Chapter, though? Not many have ventured into that territory and no counselling practices from what I could see.
So, there you have it, everyone. Now you’ve had some learning of the reasons behind the name Another Chapter Blogging.
I suppose my blog could be slightly comparable to a self-help book.
Hopefully you have found this a little enlightening and also quirky. I have a playful sense of humour and would like it to shine through a lot of my writing.
